Story time.
A couple of my good childhood friends and I do a lot of stupid things that we probably only think is funny. Here is one such thing: whenever we're taking a stroll and come across a sewer lid, we yell "Hey, Michelangelo! Donatello! Raph..." you get the idea. If you didn't, it's obviously the Ninja Turtles, the sewer clearly being where they reside.
Hear me out...
So, I received a phone call from Dan (one of these childhood friends) today on the way to a meeting. He begins telling me a story of an incredibly awkward encounter which occurred today...
As Dan was walking to class, he came across a sewer entrance with it's lid off. He took a couple swifts glances around to make sure nobody was watching, and then simply proceeded to ask "Hey Donatell..." In the same moment he asked this question, man begins to climb out of the sewer. He was working construction supposedly. He gave Dan a really confused look, to which Dan responded by slowly walking away.
Extremely awkward.
This is story is funny for a couple reasons:
1) Clearly, the Ninja Turtles do not really live, and, more directly, do not live in sewer systems. Asking the Turtles to come out of the sewer is just ridiculous, but at the same time hilarious because of the extent of its foolishness.
2) What are the odds of some random guy actually being IN the sewer when nobody was around? Crazy. And hilarious.
Anyway...
That's all.

Well I wasn't allowed to watch TMNT as a child (over protective home-schooled kid...) but I think that's a hilarious thing to do.
Oh, I did play the video game for original NES. But that was after I was a little older and "more mature."
