Part One: The Front Desk

I'm working the front desk right now, extremely thirsty and wishing I had better prepared myself for my 2 o' clock geology exam. Thursday is usually the most easy-going day of the week, but this week is different. Everything is rapidly accumulating, and I'm killing myself trying to keep up.

Usually when I work the front desk, I can always count on this random kid to serenade me with "Clocks" on the lobby piano. The problem is, he doesn't play it right, and progressively speeds up the pace of the song. He also never deviates from the melody in the verse. Very, very annoying. Especially when I'm trying to study/ watch The Office or webisodes of Flight of the Conchords.

Aside from the occaisonal butchering of Coldplay, working this job isn't terrible at all. I get paid to sit here and do whatever I want (except when the mail comes... that sucks). And I suppose this will be the location where I write most of these blogs.
